Annual
FeatherFest Photo Contest
Each
year, for a month prior to the annual Galveston
FeatherFest, the GINTC holds a weekly contest where
individuals can submit photographs of birds that have been
taken on or around Galveston Island. The three top photographs
for each week are printed in The Daily News, Galveston County's
newspaper, and posted here on line. At the close of the
contest, the winning photographs and the "best in show"
are displayed at the birding festival.
